I recommed buying a marvell 91xx base adapter. Transfer speed seems fine. If I can install the drive on windows on this port then I’m done, but it would be interesting to know if the ASMedia controller works with Ubuntu.

The windows does see disks but the performance is poor. Thank you for this explanation.
